  1. If your piece includes any personal information such as SS number or account information it must mail 1st class
  2. 1st class postage increases with weight and size
  3. There are 2 postage categories for 1st class; letter & flat. This is determined by both weight and size
  4. 1st class non-deliverable pieces are returned to sender at no cost
  5. 1st class mail delivery’s in 1 to 3 days
  6. Co-mingling presort service are available for 1st mail and can save departments approximately $.03/piece. An additional 1 day is needed to utilize this service
  7. We can also pre-sort your 1st class mailing. Pre-sort postage is less expensive verses 1st class full rate & co-mingle. Pre-sort mailings require list processing and mail services charges for this service. It may not be cost effective on smaller volumes as the list processing costs may outweigh the postage savings
  8. If your piece is not critical you should consider Non-Profit (200 or more pieces are needed to qualify)
  9. Non-profit mailings require list processing and mail services charges for this service. It may not be cost effective on smaller volumes as the list processing costs may outweigh the postage savings 
  10. Non-Profit postage is considerably less expensive compared to 1st class
  11. Non-Profit deliveries in 1 to 10 days
  12. Non deliverable mail is recycled by the USPS
  13. Non-profit mail cannot contain advertisement
  14. Non-profit postage also increases with weight and size
